According to the museum's data, in 1973 the chandelier from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tukums was moved to Rundale Castle, where it remained for 44 years. At the beginning of 2017, the chandelier was taken over by the Tukums Museum, which carried out an extensive restoration with the support of the State Cultural Capital Fund and Tukums Municipality. The restoration was performed by the interior decoration company SIA "Intarsija". A number of specialists in various fields were involved in its restoration. The following participated in the research and development of the chandelier: Jānis Ceplis - restorer-interior master of interior objects, member of the board of SIA “Intarsija”, as well as Dainis Bruģis - art scientist and Ina Līne - art scientist. The models were made by Gunārs Grīnfelds - a restorer-old master of monumental decorative sculpture. The molds were made and cast by Sergey Ilyin, a master of artistic metal casting. Igors Gviļovs and Anatolijs Buiņickis performed the restoration of original and post-processing of the new parts, assembly and patination. The chandelier is currently on display in Tukums Castle Tower.
